2 Betty Crocker Betty Crocker's Picture Cook Book
N. Y. McGraw-Hill Book Company 1950 First Edition Cloth Very Good Hardcover Spiral Notebook Quarto
First Edition/Seventh Printing stated. Hard cloth covered boards with the original bright red and white folk-art decorations that have come to be recognized as the Betty Crocker design, brown paper pastedowns. The boards contain five heavy rings set in a metal bar, stiff brown ring guard plaques hold the loose leaves and labeled index-tabbed section dividers.Title page holes have enlarged and need tape to keep in place, I have left them untaped. Some soiling to that page but otherwise nicely kept with illustrations, both drawn and photographic, including full color pages of meats and canapes, a few old newspaper recipes tucked in. The heavy metal spiral holder still stiff, small rust spots on the metal strip, wear to spine of boards which shows soiling and separating of cloth at the bottom inch but still tightly attached as it is backed by the metal.strip. Covers are still brightly distinctive and striking.
