1 The Golden Fleece/Tales From the Caucasus
Moscow Progress Publishers 1971 First Edition Very Good + Very Good Hardcover Tranlated By Avril Pyman
Very good stated first edition, interior text and illustrations clean and crisp, bound in ivory cloth boards with what looks to be water stain to top of front panel and spine head, does not extend at all into the book, rather wonderful color drawing to front board, decorative endpapers, title page stamped with the single word remainder, no other indication of such, bound-in bookmark. The wraparound pictorial dust jacket with a few small chips and one closed tear to top of back panel, now protected and quite attractive in a new, clear Brodart cover. Most of the illustrations and the artwork of the cover suggest that these are very grim fairy tales indeed.
